ACE Lab Presents: The Revenant

Alejandro Iñárritu’s retelling of the story of mountain man Hugh Glass, who traversed 200 miles of American wilderness to find safety after being mauled by a bear. The Revenant won Oscars™ for Cinematograhy, Directing and Best Actor for Leonardo DiCaprio. It was also nominated Best Picture, for Tom Hardy’s performance and for Visual Effects, among others.
The movie will be introduced by Asst. Professor John Berton who will discuss how cinematrography and integrated photo-realistic visual effects were used to tell this dramatic story in the very personal spaces within an epic landscape.
