An ARCA based panning head and long plate allow the cameras to be mounted as a stereo pair, but it’s clear that these Rokinon 7.5mm lenses don’t provide enough field of view to be suitable for a full 360° rig. Will need to try other lenses with these cameras to allow for better coverage with each shot. We’ll be working with two cameras for some time, so hoping to find a lens that provides at least close to 180° coverage on the micro four thirds sensor in time for our shoot coming up at the Academy of Natural Sciences.
