FILM SCREENING & DISCUSSION WITH ART DIRECTOR JESSE ROSENTHAL

Fresh off the success of Marvel’s Black Panther and the Academy Award-winning Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Art Director Jesse Rosenthal will visit campus on Thursday, April 12. Join the Cinema & Television Department in the URBN Annex Screening Room for a special showing of Three Billboards, followed immediately by a Q&A with Rosenthal.

With over 20 years of experience in production design, set design, props, and art direction, Rosenthal’s other credits include Creed, Silver Linings Playbook, and Split, among others. He will speak to the complex and rewarding process of building movie worlds-from the marriage of natural wonders with advanced technology in Wakanda to the gritty, lived-in landscape of the fictional American town of Ebbing, Missouri.
