Congratulations Alumni!

Congratulations to Drexel alumni for their work on Oscar winning feature films Zootopia and Jungle Book. Zootopia won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film, and Jungle Book won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects. These films featured the work of Drexel Alumni Amol Sathe (Class of 2007), Justin Dobies (Class of 2008), and Joyce Le Tong (Class of 2010), Girish Balakrishnan (Class of 2013).

These alumni and films were in good company, as they were in the running along with other Oscar nominated films Kubo and the Two Strings (nominated for Best Visual Effects), Moana (nominated for Best Animated Feature Film) and Borrowed Time (nominated for Best Animated Short Film). These nominated films featured the work of Drexel alumni Sara (Colucci) Ireland (2007), Justin Dobies (2008), David Lally (Class of 2010), Joyce Le Tong (2010).

Congratulations to all involved in created some of the most amazing films of the past year!
