Visiting Visual Effects Artist and Supervisor Rob Stauffer presents Houdini this Friday, Nov. 7 in the Urban Center Annex Screening Room beginning at 10am.
Houdini is one of the the most powerful and advanced tools the Digital Media Department licenses for use on our lab and classroom machines. It is particularly known for it’s powerful procedural tools, which feature prominently in major feature films, television shows, commercials and video games.
This presentation and discussion will be held in The Urban Annex Screening Room 349 Screening Room from 10am until Noon, this Friday, November 7.
About Rob Stauffer:
Rob Stauffer is a Senior Product Specialist at Side Effects Software. He has over 15 years experience in computer graphics and visual effects. Rob started his career at Digital Domain and has worked at Sony Imageworks, Weta Digital, Asylum FX and most recently was an FX Supervisor at Rhythm and Hues. He has contributed to the FX of over 20 feature films including, “Lord Of The Rings: The Return of The King”, “Spiderman 2″, “X-Men:First Class”, “The Day After Tomorrow” and most recently “Seventh Son”.
