POSITION: Junior Front End Developer
COMPANY: EmpireCovers
LOCATION: Jenkintown, PA
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with front-end UI technologies: HTML, CSS, JQuery/Javascript
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, ASP.NET and C# is a plus but not required
- Experience with SQL Server data centric programming is a plus but not required
- Knowledgeable in the current web development trends and techniques
- Clear understanding of information architecture
- Understanding of web standards/ web browser capabilities and ability to create cross-browser and cross-platform compliant pages
- Experience with mobile websites a plus
- Thrive in a deadline driven environment
- Comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-paced, creative and flexible environment
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Strong communication skills
DUTIES:
- Transform Photoshop documents into web pages using HTML/CSS and JQuery/Javascript, ensuring it works for desktop, tablet, mobile devices.
- Create re-usable front-end components
- Collaborate closely with development, design, and marketing team to define product and usability requirements
- Work closely with the development team to integrate features on web projects
- Report to Lead Front-End Developer after a project has been completed
COMPENSATION:
This is a full-time position with salary based on experience, benefits included (medical insurance, 401K, etc.)
