POSITION: Web Designer/Developer
Bruce N. Eimer, Ph.D. and The Behavior Therapy Center, PC requires a Web Designer/Developer to support activities related to the ongoing development, design, and implementation of several redesigned company websites emphasizing online marketing and sales platforms.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: The successful candidate will have a degree in web design/development or similar experience, and at least three years developing Rich Internet Applications and multimedia. Proficiency with the following current web technologies is mandatory: WordPress, HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, XML, and OGC web services in the Windows environment. Strong design skills, especially in developing online stores and in developing auto-responder email lists with meticulous attention to detail are necessary to be successful. Experience in creating and working with custom Content Management Systems using PHP and MySQL; experience and skill developing software using object-oriented design principles and sound development practices are all considered to be desirable assets. Drupal experience is a plus.
DUTIES: Specific activities will include the continued creation and implementation of a flexible development strategy based on an existing analysis of the structure, web-technologies, organization, workflow, and content of the current BTC web sites. The candidate will also be required to produce creative solutions intended to increase the online market penetration and # of daily independent visitors of our websites, so as to sell our books, videos, CDs, services, and seminars, with the major goal of promoting Dr. Bruce Eimer, a nationally respected psychologist and author, my organization and its services, to the user community and targeted audiences locally and nationally.
