This years Digital Media senior show features projects in the areas of Gaming, Animation, and Web Development. We have 5 projects being shown. Our students have been working on these projects for the entire academic year.</p>

ANS Explore! creates both a fun and educational experience for its users as they Quest through the museum and learn about its exhibits in a new and exciting way. <p><strong>Scrapple TV</strong> is an online news network that is distributed on a responsive web platform. In addition the website design, a customized client dashboard and plugin were created which allows the client to maintain and manage the business without technical expertise. <p><strong>fLight</strong> is a fun and fast-paced, light vs dark multi-player game. Two players inside the motion platform attempt to light beacons as five other players on iPads do their best to stop them. The teams struggle against each other to alter the illumination across the dark and mysterious landscape that is fLight. Michael Aherne: Modeler, Character Artist, Texture Artist. <p><strong>Within a Dream</strong> is an animated short that explores the powerful nature of dreams and their ability to inspire change within us. The story features Simon, a misbehaved boy who takes his mother for granted, and Stumblebumb, a dream fairy with some questionable work habits. On the night Stumblebumb visits Simon to deliver his dream, Stumblebumb&#8217;s tendency to drink on the job results in the dream getting misplaced. But in the end, Stumblebumb&#8217;s mistake helps Simon learn a valuable lesson. Rachel Young: Pre-visualization, Modeling, Rigging, 2D Assets/Animation, and 3D Animation. <p><strong>DUTIES:</strong> The Digital Media Developer will utilize their creative programming skills that integrate audio, video, motion, with user interface design to create unique visitor experiences that translate into the physical space. He/she will conceive, program and design interactive media experiences for science museum exhibits and special projects. He/she will work closely with a team of scientists and the design team to brainstorm, storyboard, program and/or customize software to prototype interactive experiences for testing and evaluation. The digital media developer will use all mediums of interactive digital media, including software, hardware, and web-based platforms, and is expected to understand and adopt new technologies as they become available. He/she will work closely with technical and exhibit designers to integrate technology into physical spaces. He/she will serve as a member of the core team for the development and design of capital campaign exhibit projects and creative services projects as assigned.</p>
<p><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>

<li>Participate in brainstorming sessions, developing storyboards and sketches to clearly communicate ideas.</li>
<li>Program and customize software to build interactive media experiences.</li>
<li>Work with outside media producers to ensure final production meets design standards.</li>

<li>Collaborate with graphic designers to integrate graphic interface within digital media experiences.</li>

<p>Grounds For Sculpture is seeking an experienced, full-time Graphic Designer to create compelling visuals for print and online, fulfill internal and external photo requests, manage production calendars and the GFS photo library, and more. You’ll work under exhaustive deadlines, typically have at least 12 plates in the air, and be asked to jump between projects as if your life depended on it. If you use Adobe CS like a Shaolin Warrior and read Communications Arts like it’s your bible, read on.</p>
<p><strong>TASKS:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design and production of collateral including event guides, postcards, brochures, posters, shop merchandise, etc.</li>
<li>Work directly with printers for above production, including RFQs, scheduling, file prep, etc.</li>
<li>Design of print and online advertising</li>
<li>Provide images for press and/or internal requests by request.</li>
<li>Manage design requests from varied departments and schedule appropriately</li>
<li>Proofing and editing all received content for accuracy, consistency, and cross-promotion</li>
<li>Create web graphics for GFS site as needed.</li>
<li>Design and send e-blasts through Constant Contact, manage e-blast calendar and distribution lists. Recommend other avenues for electronic marketing campaigns</li>
<li>Photograph and/or video select GFS events for inclusion on web site, in marketing materials or on social media sites.</li>
<li>Support other departments with file conversions/creation as requested</li>
<li>Sounding board for Director of Marketing re: marketing and advertising initiatives</li>
<li>Represent the organization at meetings of local chambers, trade shows, etc. as needed.</li>

<p><strong>SKILLS:</strong></p>

<li>Graphic design expertise</li>
<li>Must be creative and innovative with a solid visual aesthetic</li>

<p>Endless Pools Inc., is an entrepreneurial Direct Marketing company that is always trying to push the envelope and develop new ways of getting people to interact with our sites, request information and ultimately drive sales.</p>
<p>We are looking for an entry-level graphic/web content designer, with innovative ideas, who likes to think outside the box and is a hands-on learner.</p>
<p>Previous experience is certainly a plus but not a prerequisite – we would much rather you have a curious mind with the ability to learn quickly, are up to date on new technologies, and have a good understanding of HTML and CSS. </p>
<p>Responsibilities include design and front end coding of web pages, landing pages, banners, HTML emails, and maintaining company websites.  </p>
<p>Skills:<br />
BA/BS in Graphic Arts or related discipline<br />
Proficient with Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite<br />
Strong typography and composition skills<br />
Good organizational skills</p>
